This gun is a fixer up special. It does have the good parts: full oct bbl, full length mag, reasonably nice metal, some bluing on the bbl and mag tube-the remainder is an old looking antique brownish color. The receiver has mostly toned to a medium brown patina; not bad looking. Here's where the problem starts: there's a few pieces missing such as the loading gate, it has replacement sights and the comb has been modifled on the buttstock and it is a carbine style buttplate. The forearm is in reasonably good cond with a lot of dings, scrapes, scratches, etc and one slight little chip missing toward the forearm cap. A good plus on this gun is that the action is quite nice; another minus is that the bore is rather dark and could use a good cleaning, maybe it would come out better than it looks right now. As stated, this is a fixer upper but the price is right.
