Full octagon barrel, full length magazine tube, fine bore, barrel retains 30%+ blue with three dings on the under flat near the retaining band-otherwise clean smooth metal, 25% magazine blue, the balance is a thinning plum gray coloration, 80%+ shiny receiver blue, the balance just starting to turn; considerable case colors visible on hammer and lever. Very nice walnut with most varnish intact; rifle buttplate. Very attractive ’73.
