Very nicely engraved with 2/3 coverage overall; correct rare mother of pearl grips and Smith & Wesson logo inlaid. Mechanical condition is excellent. Overall gun retains 95% original gold gilting which has tarnished quite a bit and is starting to bubble on the top part of the frame in back by the hammer. Of the period, possibly Smith & Wesson case, is slightly soiled but still in VG condition with a French style red velour lining. Very nice. Scarce. e
