MHG652 SMITH & WESSON MODEL No.1 2ND ISSUE SPUR TRIGGER
Item # MHG652
Cal 22 RF. 3-3/16" oct bbl. These little S&W's had a brass frame and this one was silver plated. Silver has flaked and has some tarnish in remaining spots. Smooth cylinder has the 3 patent dates found on the second issue model after 20k serial range. Bbl has just slight traces of blue in protected areas. Rosewood grips are in good overall condition with a couple hairline cracks on the right grip. Rifling is still visible in a rough bore. Great little addition to that Smith and Wesson collection.

For as old as this box is it is quite unique. Also there is a cleaning rod and brush that are later manufactured. The Bicycle Gun is very rare and to find one in this condition is nearly unheard of.
